Since 2017, I've had the pleasure of fitting clients to make the best suits and shirts they've ever worn.
While I've always been interested in menswear and fashion, I started fitting clients for custom suits when I was fired from a college job 2 weeks before my wedding.
Instead of waiting a few weeks to find a new job, my wife insisted I find a new job quickly. In some stroke of luck, Perfectly Suited by Garth in Provo was hiring. I learned how to help measure clients and style custom clothing.
After I left that job, I was struck by the big problem in custom clothing. It's almost impossible to find a custom suit where you get an expert fitting experience, a good price, and quality construction. Most stores make good clothing and provide a great fitting experience, but prices are very high. You could save a buck by going online, but your chances of getting a great fit are 50/50.
Our mission at esatto is to deliver all 3: quality clothing, at great prices, with an amazing in-person fitting experience.
— Brandon Beck, Head Clothier
In 2021, I began working to improve our fitting process. I found that most of the time, just sending body measurements to our factory could produce a good fit, but things were far from perfect.
Inspired by the process that bespoke houses on Savile Row in London use to make suits, I tested a "fitting suit" on myself to create a similar experience without the $10,000 price tag.
I could not believe how well that suit fit. It was clear: this was a better way to produce a great fit, every time. We have a collection of over 70 fitting garments to consistently create an amazing fit for any body type.
Over the years, we went by a few names: Beck Style, Tailored First, Brandon Beck Custom. But, none of those names truly captured the level of precision and attention to detail that we strive for.
Then, I stumbled on an Italian word: esatto.
"esatto" means "exactly."
esatto perfectly captures our brand: measure twice, cut once; Italian-inspired fits; and the highest quality standards.
We accept nothing less when fitting clients for custom clothing.
We have only one goal: to help you find your esatto—the perfect fit.
